Learning Sessions

Organizations and the people in them need learning as a process of developing greater knowledge by integrating new thinking with what the team members already know. It includes creating, retaining, and transferring knowledge within an organization as it improves over time through management theory and experience. From testing this experience, the person and the organization are able to create greater knowledge, and eventually, wisdom.

The Sergent Results Group provides learning & training sessions in a variety of organizational topics. These sessions have specific goals of improving capability, capacity, effectiveness, productivity and performance. It forms the core of quality processes and professions for skilled trades, as well as management, apprenticeships or other professions in all economic sectors, including education, government and non-profits. People within many professions and occupations may refer to this sort of learning and training as professional development.

We have access to deeper levels of expertise than is feasible for you and your team to have in-house, and you may obtain only as much service from us as you need.

Keynote Presentations

A public speaking keynote, address, or speech is a talk that establishes a main underlying theme. In corporate, government or commercial settings, greater importance is attached to the delivery of an address or presentation that establishes the framework for the following program of events or agenda; frequently the role of keynote speaker will include that of conference moderator.

Keynotes are often delivered to set the underlying tone and summarize the core message or most important revelation of the event. Speakers are often selected to raise interest in a particular event, such as a conference or large meeting sponsored by a corporation or association, and draw attendees to that program.

We don’t do “training” rather, we help you learn to think differently and then act with new knowledge.  Here is what to expect:

  • You are in control of what you learn, it is in your hands. We will help you learn through your participation. This requires effort, time, deep thinking, and your engagement. No lasting value can be achieved in a few hours, on your own, or on the run.

  • Our learning programs connect you with other learners as a cohort, where your participation in weekly dialogue will bring benefit to everyone. The learning we offer focuses on what we think is essential, but you will only learn what has meaning to you. 

  • You will be presented with immediately useful methods to think differently about your values, your role, your organization and your customers.  You will be asked to do the preparatory effort for each week’s lessons, and you have all the capability you need when you prepare for the weekly webinars. 

  • Our aim and purpose is to help you shift your thinking to consider new capabilities from what has meaning to you.  You will learn to see your world differently through Deming’s System of Profound Knowledge. 

  • You will not be asked to evaluate the facilitation, only to evaluate the quality of your own participation and learning. We provide you with a simple radar chart on the major topics and you can assess your own knowledge before and after the cohort is done to measure your learning.

  • If others want you to attend, ask them why they are not attending. If they have already attended, ask them what had meaning to them, then make your decision to register or not. You know what you want and need to learn and fulfill your purpose in your life. Come if the learning fits.
